A step-by-step guide to working with Atelier Gihanga — from your first consultation to the moment your piece arrives.

Commissioning a custom piece of furniture is one of the most rewarding things you can do for your home or office. Here is exactly what to expect when you work with Atelier Gihanga.

Step one is the consultation. We meet — in person at our showroom, or virtually — to understand your needs. What is the piece for? What space will it live in? What is your budget? There are no wrong answers.

Step two is the design and quote. Within 48 hours, we send you a detailed design concept — dimensions, materials, finish options — along with a fully itemised quote. No hidden costs. No surprises.

Step three is approval and deposit. Once you are happy with the design, you approve it and pay a 50% deposit. This is when our craftsmen begin work. You will receive progress updates throughout the build.

Step four is delivery. We handle everything — transport, installation, final adjustments. We do not leave until the piece is exactly right. The remaining 50% is due on delivery.
